Jame Telfer

Jame Telfer is a multidisciplinary artist whose work weaves the feminine spirit, personal energy, and creative freedom into vivid visual storytelling. A proud Gumbaynggirr woman, her practice is deeply intuitive, often exploring the matriarchal stories, Ancestral memory, and unseen energy fields. James works very much through a channeling/scribe format, by story mapping and exploring full expression in all her work.

Jame creates commissioned works that honour her own artistic vision, allowing each piece to unfold’s story organically rather than by prescription.
