Thursday Club snail mail club

A monthly snail-mail art experiment.

On the first Thursday of every month, at 7pm AEST (Sydney, Australia time), Group reiki session, & attempt to visually scribe / create an artwork of/from the energetic space.

Just one hour of paying attention and attuning into the energy of the group, And because this is made by me, it won’t always look the same.

There are no set themes, no formula, and I’m deliberately leaving room for this to become whatever it wants to become.

The artwork and letter are the heart of it, but some months there might be something extra tucked inside a sticker, a scribble, a little something I’ve been making or thinking about that month. Other months, there might not.

I’m a Reflector. I change. I’m influenced by what I’m around, what I’m noticing, what I’m feeling and what life looks like at the time. I don’t want to remove that from this by trying to make every month fit the same mould.

So while we’re tuning into something collectively, it’s still coming through me, my hands, my art, my perspective, my weird little brain. I want to leave enough space for this to grow, shift and surprise me too.

You’re invited to spend the hour however you want, wherever you are. Make something, think about something, sitting quietly, going for a walk or just being engulfed in your day and not even giving it a second thought.

For me at the end of the hour, I’ll have a piece of artwork, this artwork will be created into prints and sent to you, along with a letter about the experience of making it and my interpretation on what came up during that hour.

I don’t really know what this project is yet but that’s kind of the point.

What you will receive

  • Inclusion in the group reiki

  • A monthly A6 print of the artwork created during the Thursday Club hour

  • A personal letter from me about the experience.

  • occasionally, little random arty things, stickers and or little art pieces that feel like they need to be tucked away in the envelope too each month.

  • Thursday Club is actually a space me and my best friend created where people alike could join energetically in a group reiki session on a Thursday night, from afar without having to do anything at all.

    This subscription is an extension of this space, it is a monthly art experiment, of visually scribing a recreation of that intentional space of collective energy on a Thursday once a month.

    On the first Thursday of every month, I will spend one hour creating a visual artwork, a visual scribe of the collective energy that comes through.

    You’re invited to spend that same hour however you like, intentional time connecting or not even given a thought to it, there is absolutely no requirements, and subscribing is your permission for your energy to participate regardless of what your doing.

  • Each month you’ll receive a physical print size A6 of the scribed artwork and a personal letter from me about my process and experience.

    Second to this you will be included in our group reiki session from afar on the Thursday night, there is no need to do anything during this hour by subscribing you are giving permission for your energy to be involved even when physically and mentally your mind may be elsewhere.

  • The first Thursday of every month at 7pm AEST, (Sydney, Australia time)

  • I’ll post each month’s letters and prints on the first Monday after our Thursday club session.

    This is a snail mail service and will be sent via letter with Australia Post. Depending on your location delivery times vary.

  • No, we also offer one off purchases for a single month.

  • Its’s a monthly subscription that renews automatically on the 1st of each month.

  • No, you absolutely do not.

    There are no rules, instructions or expectations.

    You can create something, meditate, think, journal, make dinner, do absolutely nothing at all and your energy will be participating regardless of your movements during the hour.

  • No, I won’t know what I’m creating until I sit down to make it.

    That’s the whole experiment.

  • Unfortunately no, I would love to offer international shipping once I get my head around shipping costs. For now we are Australia wide only.
